Advanced golf-performance testing

Stop guessing.
Train what matters.

We assess your swing speed, movement, strength and power, then use the connected data to identify the most valuable physical quality for you to work on next.

The SSL testing system

Data gives your training direction.

Most golfers know they want more speed. Far fewer know which physical quality deserves their time. SSL replaces that guesswork with a clear, individual priority based on connected testing.

01

Build your profile

Assess

We combine your goals, golfing journey and training history with selected speed, movement, strength and power tests.

02

Find what matters next

Prioritise

The results are interpreted together to identify the highest-value physical quality for you to work on — not a generic list of weaknesses.

03

Available through membership

Train & retest

If you join an ongoing membership, your assessment priority becomes a personalised programme supported by check-ins, focused retesting and regular updates.

What we assess

Four questions.
One connected profile.

A result only matters if it changes the decision. We look across four connected areas to understand where your best opportunity may sit.

01Swing speed

How fast are you now?

Create a repeatable clubhead-speed baseline and understand your current output.

02Movement

How well can you move?

Assess the golf-relevant movement options that may influence how you swing and train.

03Strength

How much force can you produce?

Test the strength qualities that may deserve a place in your speed-development plan.

04Power

How quickly can you produce it?

Measure your ability to express force quickly and connect it to practical training decisions.

The outcome

A ranked, practical view of what deserves your attention next.

Your starting point

The Full Swing Speed Lab Assessment

A structured deep dive into your current physical profile. It gives you a reliable baseline, connects the findings and identifies your most useful next priority.

Assessment only£220
DM “ASSESSMENT”

What the assessment includes

  1. 01
    Start with context

Your goals, golfing journey, injury history, training experience and available time.

  2. 02
    Build the data

Baseline swing speed plus relevant movement, strength and power testing.

  3. 03
    Connect the findings

Results interpreted together — not isolated scores or generic benchmarks.

  4. 04
    Set the priority

A clear debrief on what deserves attention and whether ongoing coaching is the right next step.

The assessment is not a training programme.

The £220 fee does not include a personalised programme, ongoing check-ins, programme updates or structured retesting. Those begin only if you join an SSL membership.

Ongoing coaching

Assessment finds the priority.
Membership builds the change.

Limited by design

Membership begins after your full SSL assessment. Places are deliberately limited so every member receives individual data review, programme design, check-ins and meaningful updates.

Structured independent training

Lab Core

£69/ month

For golfers who can complete their training independently but want a precise plan, accountability and objective progress checks.

  • Personalised four-week physical-performance programme
  • Two concise digital coaching check-ins each month
  • One focused progress retest each month
  • Programme reviewed and updated every four weeks
  • Clear month-to-month progress summary

Initial £220 assessment required · Subject to coaching capacity

DM “CORE”
What “monthly retest” means

A focused progress retest repeats the measures most relevant to your current priority. It is not another full assessment. That keeps the process useful, repeatable and sustainable every month.

More tiers will follow

Higher-support options are in development. SSL is starting with two memberships so the delivery stays precise, personal and sustainable.

Clear by design

Physical performance.
Not swing reconstruction.

SSL develops the golfer’s physical capacity rather than providing traditional technical swing coaching. When a golf coach, physiotherapist or another specialist is the right answer, we will say so.

Good to know

Questions,
answered.

Does the £220 assessment include a training programme?+

No. The assessment establishes your baseline, connects the data and identifies your main priority. Personalised programming, check-ins, updates and structured retesting are delivered through membership.

Can I join a membership without an assessment?+

No. Your assessment gives SSL the data and context needed to build an individual programme rather than guessing what you should train.

Is the monthly retest another full assessment?+

No. It is a focused repeat of the measures linked to your current priority, used to judge progress and inform the next programme update.

Why are membership places limited?+

Every member requires individual data review, programme design and ongoing feedback. New places open only when there is capacity to deliver that properly.

Is this a golf lesson?+

No. SSL focuses on physical performance. Technical swing changes are the domain of a suitable golf coach.

What if I have an injury or pain?+

Tell us before testing. A test can be modified or stopped, and you will be referred to an appropriate professional where needed.
