For golf clubs & indoor golf venues

Bring the Lab
to your venue.

Host an SSL launch day or introduction event that gives your golfers a practical look at the physical side of their performance.

Selected movement, power and swing-speed testing, explained by Josh. A focused member experience, with the format and costs agreed around your venue.

A new experience for your golfers

More than a speed number.

A golfer sees their speed alongside selected physical measures, then hears what those findings might mean. It is an introduction to the SSL process, designed to complement the golf coaching and facilities already at your venue.

Use it to introduce a new member service, run a golf-performance day or explore whether ongoing SSL assessment days would suit your membership.

What happens on the day

A golfer introduction,
step by step.

An example 45-minute appointment. This is a planning guide: the final timetable, tests and number of golfers are agreed for your event.

A useful first look

The introduction gives golfers a selected testing snapshot. The complete physical-performance profile is available through the full assessment at £220 standalone, or £110 when purchased with membership.

  1. 00–05minutes

    Welcome & goals

A short conversation about the golfer, their training and anything relevant to choosing suitable tests.

  2. 05–15minutes

    Movement snapshot

Selected golf-relevant checks, such as trunk rotation, lead-hip rotation and shoulder movement.

  3. 15–20minutes

    Power snapshot

A simple lower-body power check, such as a countermovement jump, where appropriate for the golfer and space.

  4. 20–35minutes

    Swing-speed testing

A warm-up and selected speed swings using the testing setup agreed for your venue.

  5. 35–45minutes

    Make the findings useful

A clear explanation of the snapshot, a potential area to explore and the golfer’s options for taking things further.

Make the day work well

Plan the space.
Agree the details.

01 / Space

A suitable testing area

A quiet space for the conversation and physical checks, plus an agreed bay or area with suitable clearance for swing testing. SSL confirms the testing setup with you before booking.

02 / Equipment

Know what is needed

We agree which tests are appropriate, what equipment SSL will bring and what the venue will provide. Additional strength testing can be discussed where the facilities support it.

03 / Bookings

A clear appointment plan

Agree the number of golfers, appointment times, setup and breaks, and who manages bookings. A named venue contact keeps the day straightforward to coordinate.

04 / Communication

Set expectations early

Confirm the member-facing event information, price and payment route before promotion. Golfers should know what the introduction covers and how to prepare.

Costs & payment

The right format.
A clear quote.

Venue events are priced by agreement, based on the delivery time, location, number of golfers and testing setup. Request a quote before advertising a member price or confirming a date.

Start with a focused pilot

Introductory half-day

Enquire for a quote

A smaller block of booked golfer introductions, with capacity agreed around the appointment length, setup time and breaks.

Give more golfers an introduction

Full venue day

Enquire for a quote

A longer appointment schedule for a venue introduction or launch event, planned around your facilities and member interest.

Who pays for the event?

Discuss the arrangement that fits your venue. These are options to agree in the quote, not automatic booking terms.

Venue-funded

The venue pays the agreed delivery fee. How members access the sessions is decided before promotion.

Golfer-funded

An attendee price, booking process and any minimum commitment are agreed with the venue in advance.

Shared funding

A venue contribution and golfer fee can be discussed where that better suits your membership.

Your written quote confirms

Event delivery

The agreed half-day or full-day format, appointment capacity, setup time and SSL delivery fee.

Travel & facilities

Travel requirements, any venue or simulator-bay charges, and any additional equipment costs, with responsibilities agreed in advance.

Who pays

Whether the venue, attending golfers or a combination will fund the event, plus any agreed minimum booking commitment.

Payment & booking terms

The total payable, who collects payment, any agreed deposit, due dates, and cancellation or rescheduling arrangements.

Payment is arranged directly once the quote and booking terms are agreed. This page is an enquiry route; it does not take event payments.

For golfers who want to continue

Venue questions

Before we set a date.

Can this be an introduction rather than a launch?

Yes. It can introduce SSL to your members, form part of a golf-performance event or act as a pilot for future assessment days. The member-facing name and format can reflect the purpose of your event.

How many golfers can take part?

Capacity depends on the agreed appointment length, testing spaces, setup time and breaks. The 45-minute example is a guide; a final appointment schedule is confirmed with your quote.

How are individual services and venue events priced?

The full assessment and membership prices are for individual golfers. A venue introduction or launch day receives its own agreed event quote, with any attendee price stated separately.

Are travel, bay costs and deposits included?

Your quote identifies what is included, any separately agreed charges, who pays and any deposit or payment dates. Venue fees, travel and equipment needs are checked before the event is confirmed.
